MEDDUHKL KENKAKSHEN

This work was an exploration of materials and is a reflection of my dependance to pharmaceutical medications and the duality of both their healthy and hazardous qualities. This work is a mixed media sculpture composed of a painted glass vessel filled to capacity with translucent encapsulation rubber. Suspended within the encapsulation rubber are a mass assortment of the nine medications I take on a daily basis, each casted in white urethane. The exterior is adorned with a custom pharmaceutical label, CA Prop 65 and Choking Hazard warnings, and lid with the Unobtoyyables insignia.
