Harmful If Swallowed

This work is a reflection of my dependance to pharmaceutical medications and the duality of both their healthy and hazardous qualities. This work is a mixed media sculpture composed of a repurposed Eagle candy vending machine filled with a five month supply of my daily medications. The tinted acorn capsules are branded with the Unobtoyables insignia and each one is filled with 9 different medications, each casted in white urethane. The front of the machine displays a custom graphic, and the back and interior display CA Prop 65 and Chocking Hazard warnings.
